This pendant is inspired by Brunelleschi’s Dome on the Florence Cathedral. At the time of its construction (started in 1420) it was the largest dome in the world and it’s still the largest masonry dome ever built. Brunelleschi’s Dome is considered the most important architectural work ever built in Europe since Roman times, due to its fundamental importance in the subsequent development of architecture and modern conception of building work.
