Homage to the Magnificent
The image of Florence in the world is inextricably linked to Lorenzo the Magnificent, one of the greatest collectors of gemstones, gems, and cameos of the Renaissance. For the Magnificent, the passion for these rare materials was not a mere display of wealth, but an act of political and cultural prestige: ancient stones were indeed celebrated for their ability to keep historical memory unaltered over time.
Opus Unicum is born as a homage to this vision and to the world of Lorenzo. The piece encapsulates the highest Florentine goldsmithing tradition: the nobility and preciousness of gemstones, the technical mastery of the creation, and the rigor of aesthetic and structural execution.
A work entirely handmade in our Florence workshop, which brings back today the taste and manufacturing knowledge of the Renaissance.
