Bag in silver and coconut – Snail model
Bag made exclusively for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows in Florence. Also exhibited in the Michelozzo Courtyard of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Measurements: 16 x 10 x h 13 cm (chain length 46 cm)
Materials: coconut, sterling silver, coral (corallium Rubrum, wild), rubies.
Eyes of the fish: labradorite cabochon.
Bezel settings: green agate, carnelian.
Bag closure: coral (corallium Rubrum, wild).
Removable chain with openable round hooks, inside finished with red leather handle.
Bag opening: zippered with double safe closure finished in coral.
The inner lining of the bag is in red leather and was made by Infinity Firenze.
The bag was entirely handmade by Pestelli Creazioni, an artisan jewelery shop in Florence, using the ancient technique of screws and bolts made of sterling silver specifically for the object.
