This elegant set of cufflinks is entirely handmade in sterling silver and is inspired by the famous Stuka aircraft. An airplane decorates each cufflink and in the back the cufflink is closed with an airplane propeller, following the theme.
The Junkers Ju 87 or Stuka (from Sturzkampfflugzeug, “dive bomber”) was a German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft. The aircraft was easily recognisable by its inverted gull wings and fixed spatted undercarriage. Mainly used by the Luftwaffe, the Stuka was one of the most effective bombers of the Second World War, and certainly the most touted aircraft of the entire conflict. It is considered a milestone in the history of military aviation.
